Dr Trevor Dixon B.V.Sc. MRCVS
Trevor Dixon - Graduated in 1973 from Liverpool University. After spending several years in mixed practice he established Northway veterinary centre .Dr Dixon is currently retired but continues to be an important part of the Northway team and local community and has a close bond with the clients and their pets
Dr Ala Barysenskaja DVM MRCVS
Dr Barysenskaja joined our team September 2025. She graduated in 2008 from Lithuanian Veterinary Academy, moved to the UK in 2009 and completed rotational internship with one of the UK leading referral centres. She has an Interest in diagnostic imaging and soft tissue surgery. Also Ala is a certified pet bereavement advisor . Ala loves cycling and swimming in her free time, and also spends time with her family and her 3 Pomeranian dogs and 2 cats

Karen Jones Head RVN
Karen joined the practice when she just turned 19 in 1998. She worked as a volunteer for a few months, and decided to join the nursing career path due to her great passion for animals. She attended Myerscough college and graduated in November 2022. She continued to develop her nursing skills and dedication to the veterinary nursing profession and in 2005 she became Head nurse. Karen is a proud mum of two and has a wonderful partner of 25 years who never says no to her bringing home all sorts of creatures. In her free time Karen loves walking her crazy spaniel Albert in trail runs also loves triathlons.

Natalie Hamilton RVN
Natalie joined the practice in 2015 at the age of 19,where she instantly fell in love with the job and could not wait to start her career in veterinary. First she completed a Veterinary Care Assistant course then went on to complete her Veterinary nursing qualification and successfully graduated in 2019. Since graduation Natalie has gained a passion for canine dentistry and dental imaging. In her free time Natalie loves spending her time with her husband and little one, accompanied by their border collie Gin and horse Arthur. In her spare time she competes on her horse doing dressage and working hunter.
